The problem is that after 10 seconds of contraction time the ATP fuel extinguishes and in order to support further muscle contraction glycolisis (glycogen burning) has to kick in. That is fine and well except for the fact that as a byproduct of that mechanism lactic acid is produced. Lactic acid is what causes the burning sensation at the end of the set. When too much lactic acid is produced, your muscle contractions stop, thereby forcing you to stop the set.

However, by taking creatine, you can extend the 10 second limit of your ATP system as creatine provides ADP the phosphate molecule that it is missing (recall that creatine is stored in the muscle as creatine phosphate). By upgrading your body’s ability of regenerating ATP, you can exercise longer and harder as you will minimize your lactic acid production and you will be able to take your sets to the next level and reduce fatigue levels. More volume, strength and recovery equals more muscle (assuming nutrition and rest are dialed in).

Likes: The Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate – 1000g is the most powerful and most innovative creatine product I’ve used to date. It has been on the market for awhile. Most of my friends still use it. I still highly recommend it.
Dislikes: Cost is about the only draw back. I have friends telling me that there are better, more advanced creatine then the Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate – 1000g.

Overall: I feel that without the Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate – 1000g I would not have had the success I’ve had. It pushes me farther every workout. I would Recommend it.

Likes: I find that the Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate works great for me although I have read some bad reviews. I have been using it for three years now and haven’t switched mainly because I know guys that still use it and have never switched and they are huge! This is my goal also. If I keep doing what they are doing I’ll get as big as them.
Dislikes: I find it’s hard to dissolve, but I can live with it.
Overall: I’m going to continue to use the Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate.

Likes: The fact that the Prolabs Creatine Monohydrate has been around awhile was why I started out using it, you can’t argue with tradition.
Dislikes: I don’t use it anymore because I felt there were much better creatine products on the market. Prolabs was good for me at the time but now I use the new Muscle Advance Creatine Monohydrate. This is more advanced and up with the times.
Overall: I switched and it’s working great for me. Thanks
